Hackney to Richmond Park Loop.
Just a quick one! Once you get to Richmond Park you explore or just enjoy some calm and quiet. There are a few places for 'refreshments' or do what I do and fill up your 'bidon' with Tia Maria and Coke well in advance. Best to do this early on the weekend otherwise traffic is just far too annoying.

Richmond is pretty nice this time of year - not captured in any way in any of these images.

variation on the simple Epping ride - just took a few different roads.

Loads of possible routes through tree lined roads - easy to explore and make up your own.

Just checked this movie again and have to say it puts a smile on my face every time...

Also just put this together. Gears and drivechain were kaput so had to be singlespeed-ed. Hopefully kinda suits the F+F.

Reynolds 531 throughout so light as a feather...

Completed this a good few times and makes a good quick training ride. Some nice rural views once out towards Epping. Mixed road surface but simple and fast. Pretty much no (jacket) map required.

... its not exactly the Col de l'Izoard but hey.

Did this on Sunday. Some nice bits around the Chilterns but thats it. Followed a terrible route on MMR and thanks to disappearing signage and my own inadequacies got seriously lost around the 45 mile mark adding 10 to 15 miles to the ride - came in at about 75 miles... Weather was shit too. Apart from that it was perfect.

Some inspiring and iconic images from the ride...

Took myself off to wild wales for a ride and a walk. Thats my 'luggage' above. Train to Bangor from Euston and back from Welshpool via Birmingham. 3 nights camping.

Day One ride stunning. Two pretty good. Three beautiful but hard and Four alright but a little too much regular road. Probably packed a few too many tools but you never know do you? Felt like I was carrying a some big guy on the back for the entire ride...

Beautiful scenery for sure and the place pretty much to yourself.
Wales! Whoop!
