A very nice hand built mid 80's vintage track bike with a kind of French flag inspired finish - original red to white to blue fade paint. Suspected Columbus tubing with a Reynolds 501 chrome fork. Lovely long pointed lugs with heart shaped cutouts, shot in seat stays. A few marks but looks brilliant - straight, strong, and very very light...

Nothing Crazy Autumn Winter '11.
Trainer / Fast Commute Road Bike. Its a Raleigh. Its Reynolds 501 throughout. It has Gatorskin Tyres. It has full SKS mudguards. It is quick. It is light. It has hideous / sick paintwork. It has Biopace Cranks.
Take it for a ride. Like these guys. Into the sunset. Etc.
Thanks Luke @ Heretic.

downbylaw
Believed to be Roberto Benigni's cousin's mates bike (previous owner can confirm this) and ridden to victory on numerous occasions in the Italian track league throughout the early eighties. This newly acquired Barchelli frame has just been built up using a mismatch of components. Many countries wares are represented in the build; Reynolds, Rolls, Stronglight, Thomson, Miche and even good old Weinmann. Not forgetting Ireland through use of a Guinness can shim.
Anyway its a new whip so gonna go test ride.
