1980sVintagePeugeotFixedGearSinglespeedRoadBikeTotalRebuild

Here we have my pretty much totally stripped down and rebuilt Peugeot 'Triathlon' road racing bike.

Built from Reynolds 501 tubing. Fillet brazed, shot in seat stays with fully chromed forks - not the usual crapy carbolite made peugeots - this is VERY light, tough and comfortable to ride. Even has a braze on for your racing number...
I will say that the frame has LOTS of scratches and marks - it is however absolutely solid and straight - viewing and test ride welcome.

Reynolds 501 F+F. Size 58 cm square. Good for 5'9 to 6'3 +/-.

New black riser bars - chopped but not too narrow. New handlebar grips. Vintage quill stem. New brake lever. New brake pads. Vintage DiaCompe caliper. New brake cable. New sealed bottom bracket. New crank bolts. New track chain. New Michelin Tyres (700c). New inner tubes. Suntour cranks. New pedals and straps. Vintage fluted seat post. Front wheel Alex rim with large flange track hub. Rear wheel - double sided running quality Shimano freewheel. Large flange black track hub and deep rim.

Looks and rides great. Tends not to draw too much attention as it doesn't look like a box fresh out the store bike - should outride one though.
